A Sacred Vow

I vow to no longer chase what dims my light.

I release every thread tied to anyone who could not see me.

I forgive myself for shrinking, bending, waiting.

I forgive the little girl who thought she had to earn love.

I now walk in remembrance of my worth--

not to prove it, but to embody it.

I call back every fragment of power I gave away,

and I weave it into the woman I am becoming.

No more half-love. No more pretending.

I choose devotion that meets me in depth.

I choose stillness over scrambling.

I choose truth even when it is quiet.

From this breath forward, I walk in alignment.

I am the sovereign of my field.

And I choose me--fully, fiercely, forever. And so it is.
